A plastic slotted spoon is a particularly useful utensil if you need to lift items of food out of liquids. These slotted spoons are made from sturdy, glossy black (SAN) plastic, which is safe for use with food. This material has a particularly hard surface and is scratch resistant. The plastic can even handle short-term extreme temperature changes from freezing to boiling (approx. +95°C).
The easiest way to clean these slotted spoons is under hot running water with a bit of washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
